During the upcoming Collection Première Dusseldorf, the fashion show concept PLATFORM FASHION is starting into its fifth edition from 29 to 31 January 2016 on Areal Böhler. During these three days Labels and selected institutions will once more show their collections on the catwalk.
The concept is offering numerous innovations for the upcoming season. PLATFORM FASHION is cooperating with the Igedo Company for the first time, whose fairs GALLERY and RED CARPET will take place at the same time on the site of Böhler. The Igedo Company will show the collections of selected exhibitors during PLATFORM FASHION.
In addition to labels and institutions whose collections has been shown in the past on the catwalk, fashion shows presented by partners will be exhibited on PLATFORM FASHION for the first time. In the new Fashion Lounge from January 29 until 01 February 2016, trade visitors as well as fashion interested visitors will be offered on more than 600 square meters a freely accessible contact point for intensive discussions and an exciting exchange on the site Böhler, offered on all event days. In the context of FASHION LECTURES, visitors will have the possibility to visit lectures around innovative themes of the fashion industry. The public is also invited to some events. Furthermore, on FASHION LOUNGE, a pop-up area for selected designers in cooperation with FashionYard, an innovative sparkle store of fashionsparkle, various seating lounges and a separate press section with free internet access will be available.
In the upcoming session of PLATFORM FASHION, fashion consumers will again have the chance to visit individual fashion shows. A fashion show including designers from FashionYard will take place as well as for the fashion show FASHION PLATFORM SELECTED, a limited number of tickets is going to be available to the public.
PLATFORM FASHION will be rounded through various accompanying events such as the re-occuring format “Fashion Blogger Café” of the fashion blogger portal Styleranking.
