With eight fashion shows, about 30 participating labels and 5.000 expected guests successful format PLATFORM FASHION will celebrate its tenth season at Areal Böhler from July 20th to July 22nd 2018. With the participation of partners such as LEXUS Deutschland and Broich Catering, the fashion show platform provides well-established fashion brands as well as emerging young talents with the opportunity to stage their collections during the Düsseldorf order days.
For the anniversary season, PLATFORM FASHION is dedicated to surprised with new highlights in the schedule and continued to broaden its position as a creative hub for various styles and innovative ideas.

21H / BREUNINGER The fashion and lifestyle company opens the event once again for the anniversary season and presents selected highlights from the current collections to VIP customers and numerous celebrity guests.
16H / FASHIONYARD For FashionYard meets PLATFORM FASHION a variety of carefully curated fashion labels present their latest collection on the catwalk. In addition to the show, guest can purchase styles seen on the runway at a pop-up sale area.
18.30H / 3D FASHION BY LEXUS The future of fashion will be revealed when premium car manufacturer Lexus brings the visions of innovative 3D printing designers and outstanding graduates of the AMD Academy Fashion & Design Dusseldorf to the catwalk. Also in the spotlight will be the new Lexus UX as the first crossover SUV and a new, elegant limousine, the Lexus ES, which will launch in Germany in the beginning of 2019.
21H / UNIQUE The show brings elegance and glamour to the runway of PLATFORM FASHION once again: Inspired by spring, the “Bloom” collection – celebrating the brand’s 20th anniversary – will stretch out like an endless sea of flowers. The glamorous, elaborate cocktail and evening dresses guarantee exceptional fashion moments.
14H / KIDS FASHION BY CWF – CYBEX – PICTUREPEOPLE The kids Fashion show is a collaboration between PicturePeople photo studios, CYBEX – the manufacturer of high-end children’s seats, strollers and baby carriers – and the CWF Group, Europe’s leading licensee and manufacturer of luxury kids wear, with a brand portfolio including Chloé, Givenchy, Little Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld, DKNY, Hugo Boss, Zadig & Voltaire, Timberland, Billieblush, Billybandit or Carrément Beau. The CYBEX fashion collections are bold, pluralistic and multifaceted and know how to surprise with every new season – even on the runway of PLATFORM FASHION. With this show, PLATFORM FASHION includes the segment of premium kids wear for the first time.
16H / WMN PWR WMN Labels Manouc and L.A. LU Design present their designs for the first time at PLATFORM FASHION. The show WMN PWR WMN, markes the launch of the first joint collection by Annabell Marschall and Katharina Bonmann, inspired by New York street style and summer vibes from Los Angeles.
18.30H / PLATFORM FASHION SELECTED Established designer such as Alexandra Fuks, Cabo by Milka, Marianna Deri or Charmite once again have the great opportunity to stage their individual ideas of at fashion on the runway.
21H / THE NRW DESIGN ISSUE_CATWALK As part of the new format THE NRW DESIGN ISSUE, the THE NRW DESIGN ISSUE_CATWALK takes place at Areal Böhler for the second time, with labels such as JOTJOT from Mülheim an der Ruhr, Aleks Kurkowski and Marina Willms from Düsseldorf, the Cologne designer duo kolle_kuntz as well as anna dezet from Schwelm, documenting the large variety and high quality of designers working in North Rhine-Westphalia

Thus PLATFORM FASHION reacts again to the great interest in its the fashion shows by a fashion-conscious audience.
The campaign motif for the tenth edition of PLATFORM FASHION is the joint work of Kathrin Edwards and Georg Treitz, graduates of the Düsseldorf Art Academy and master students of Professor Siegfried Anzinger and Professor Eberhard Havekost. The work “Shine” is an oil and ink painting on polyester fabric. “We play with transparencies,” explains Kathrin Edwards. “Layers of colour as well as the translucent base fabric are used for the painting. Different elements appear only through the back lighting. “
Historic Areal Böhler serves as the venue for PLATFORM FASHION, including the outdoor area as well as the Alte Federnfabrik.
