Fashion show concept PLATFORM FASHION, held on occasion of Collection Première Düsseldorf, ended successfully yesterday on January 29th 2017. With a total of six fashion shows as well as many off site events, over 30 participating labels, about 4000 attending guest and 100 media guests and many influencers, the 7th season of the three day event proved once again to be a huge success.
Kicking of the 7th season on Friday, January 27th was fashion and lifestyle company Breuninger, showcasing carefully selected styles from the latest luxury collection in front of clients and many celebrity guests such as Rebecca Mir and Massimo Sinato, Monica Ivancan or Nelson Müller. The evening continued with an after show event and a performance by singer Debbie Schippers / The Voice of Kids.
On Saturday, January 28th, the creative potential of AMD Akademie Mode & Design students and graduates was evident in their „EXIT.17 | SCHAU“. The second show of the day was PLATFORM FASHION SELECTED featuring latest trends from labels such as Beate Heymann, Delicatelove, Maison Common and NADJA by Nadja Kiess. Spotted in the front row were VIP guest Claudelle Deckert und Anna Hiltrop. The day was closed by designer Annette Görtz. Amongst the celebrities attending her show as well as after show party were Patrick Mölleken, Amelie Klever, Anna-Katharina Samsel, Annica Hansen and Alexandra Bechtel.
Sunday, January 29th, started with selected designs of the FashionYard meets PLATFORM FASHION show. Included in the featured labels were Lensdorf, Masha Schubbach, Lassal and Süsskind. A separate pop-up sales area where all styles shown on the runway could be purchased accompanied the runway show. Spotted in the audience were VIPs Taynara Wolf und Anuthida Ploypetch. The evening ended in truly glamorous style with the Thomas Rath fashion show. Model Giulia Siegel was not only strutting the runway, but took over the turntables at the after show party. Also amongst the guests were Babette Albrecht, Dr. Vera Geisel, Birgit Schrowange, Miriam Lange, Gülcan Kamps, Mara Bergmann, Jeannine Burch, Michaela Schaffrath, Simone Voss and Vanessa Fuchs.
Seen on the runway on all three days were models Elena Kilb, Sandy Provazek and Melek Civantürk, made famous by Pro7 / Germany’s Next Topmodel TV show.
In order to meet increasing demands from B2B sales, a limited number of tickets to the shows of FashionYard meets PLATFORM FASHION, PLATFORM FASHION SELECTED and Thomas Rath fashion shows were for sale. Additionally, parts of the shows were broadcasted live for the first time on the Internet.
